Took a trip to Getty Villa with Noel since she hasn’t been there. It’s my third visit and they have this ticketing system where you reserve tickets online. I hardly print anything anymore so I don’t have a printer but in order to get into the Getty Villa you have to print out your tickets so they can scan them. Noel’s printer is ancient so we were ticketless until we spent 5 minutes at a local Kinko’s.

Went to Huntington Library today with Noel. It was actually quite warm so we took our time walking through the splendid gardens they have. We particularly fancied the new Chinese garden/display they had. The last time I went it was partially open and not fully constructed. I’d recommend a trip to the Library for those camera going people.

It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been busy with work and editing wedding photos for an album. I just did a wedding over the past weekend for a coworker. So the process starts over again for that wedding. But before I get started I decided to post a few from a short day trip to Venice Beach. Noel, Chama, and I rented some bikes and rode on the bike path before we stopped on the pier to soak in the sun while enjoying the ocean breeze.

Noel and I paid a visit to The Castaway, Burbank in preparation for a wedding I have this Friday. Took a look around while snapping a few of Noel and then headed to the Americana in Glendale. It reminded me of The Grove in Los Angeles… probably developed by the same company. There was a nice little fountain show in the center of the courtyard that we got to enjoy. Also picked up some Puma socks, thanks Noel! All this while playing around with the 85mm f/1.8 that I borrowed… sweet lense. I can’t wait to try out the 85mm f/1.4 on Friday.
