Vroom Vroom… BRAKES! This was the rhythm Giancarlo and I had while driving up Palomar Mountain. Getting off the I-15 and heading east on SR-76 we encounter some traffic and CHP vehicles so we took it easy until we found ourselves on East Grade Road heading up to the Palomar Mountain Observatory. On East Grade Road we decided to open up the throttle on our cars and let them breathe a little. Bad idea. Turns out as we were driving spiritedly up the mountain side there was CHP officer driving down and spotted our lively behavior. Fortunately he drove on by but that didn’t stop our hearts from beating 200mph. The rest of the way up and down we cruised at the speed limit having learned our lesson.

After the Socal Euro Meet Giancarlo and I decided to take his white stallion and my white egg out for a photoshoot. Location: UCSD parking structure, near the supercomputer center/RIMAC. I was super excited because I’ve been wanting to do some parking garage shots. I think the M3 is more photogenic than the EP3, but the EP has a bigger smile.

Drove down to San Diego to spend time with the Bruschi’s and attend the SoCal Euro Meet. It was held at Qualcomm Stadium. Good tun out of cars, most of which I cannot afford. There were a few that I wouldn’t mind having in my future garage but I think I’m too deeply rooted in JDM gravy to switch.
