Here’s a few from our quick visit to MOCA. We took advantage of the free tickets they were having that day. After my visit I’m not sure I’d pay to go.

Usually I’m not in an area where there other photographers around which leads to very few shots of me with my camera. Jasmine was nice enough to forward one of me from a wedding I did back in August. I don’t remember her taking this one of me but when she showed me I was like “Oh I likes.”

Sorry, for the lack of posts in recent weeks. I’ve been trying to keep from melting in the triple digit temperatures I’ve been having here. Higher gas prices doesn’t help either.

Well, it’s getting late, but I just managed to finished editing photos taken with Noel at the Getty Museum yesterday. I tried using manual mode for more of my shots, but it’s going to take some getting use to with all the settings that I have worry about. I’m still not satisfied with the skin tones straight out of the D300. I think I’ll try experimenting with the D2x settings provided by Nikon and see if that looks any better. I also had trouble with focus on the two lenses I was using. I might try fine tuning the camera to each lens and see if focus improves.
