EP3 Riverside Meet
with 2 commentsAugust 2nd, 2009
On Friday I went to my first ever EP3 (Honda Civic Si, 2002-2005) meet. I didn’t have any real excuse not to go. It was literally a block away from where I live. It was a chance for me to meet some EP3 enthusiasts and do some car chit-chatting. A total of 11 EP’s made it out which made for a good turnout.

Photoshoot: M3 meets EP3
with 2 commentsJuly 1st, 2009
After the Socal Euro Meet Giancarlo and I decided to take his white stallion and my white egg out for a photoshoot. Location: UCSD parking structure, near the supercomputer center/RIMAC. I was super excited because I’ve been wanting to do some parking garage shots. I think the M3 is more photogenic than the EP3, but the EP has a bigger smile.

More Car Photos + 1
with 3 commentsMarch 15th, 2009
Almost on a daily basis I browse this car forum at ephatch and I’ll see some amazing car shots which causes me to develop and urge to create some of my own. Still far from amazing but I did enjoy going out with the camera and experimenting.

Glendora Mountain Road
with 3 commentsMarch 8th, 2009
On Friday I wanted to drive the Angeles Crest Highway from the I-15 to the La Canada Flintridge. I knew I should have checked the road status before I left but I didn’t. I was starting from the I-15 side and when I got to the start of SR-2 (Angeles Crest Highway) there was a sign that said it was closed.
Still having the urge to drive on a winding road I tried Glendora Mountain Road. It’s a nice little road with lots of turns and switchbacks that’s great for the driver but probably nauseating for the passengers. I didn’t drive all that fast because I was wary of other cars and possibly a police officer not to mention I could fly off a cliff. There were a lot of turnouts which allowed me to take breaks and enjoy the views and vistas. Luckily I brought my camera for the occasion and took some shots while the sun was setting.
I want to see if I can get GC to out with me and drive Palomar Mountain Road one of these days. I think that’ll be a fun drive.
