The Cupcake Master
Saturday, March 20th, 2010 Posted in PersonalMy new friend, Desiree, was volunteered to be my model while I put in some practice with the D300. I needed to grind out some director skills while working with her, but Desi made it easy for me. In our first stop we utilized UCR’s Botanic Gardens. While not a huge facility it did well in providing different shots. Then we headed over to the Mission Inn in downtown Riverside.
Desi’s a big fan of baking and one of her specialties is cupcakes. She’s actually looking into getting a cupcake business together and to help her start we took some photos of the cupcakes she brought out. I got to eat the pink one afterwards… nom nom nom.
I’m hoping to take more snapshots of the frosted goodies as soon as my Pocket Wizard arrives.
